COTA-World Bank China Transport Forum

The China Transport Forum is a joint event that is organized by COTA (previously NACOTA) and the World Bank during the annual COTA China conferences. The purposes of the Forum are to
  • high-light critical challenges and opportunities in China’s transport development and
  • share and discuss inter-national and China’s experience (including the experiences of the World Bank funded projects in China) among COTA members, invited government officials, researchers, educators and practitioners from China.
The 1st COTA-World Bank China Transport Forum was held in 2010 along with the 10th ICCTP conference in Beijing, China. The forum provided both an invited speaker’s session and a panel discussion session for in-depth discussion on the topic. It has become the most influential meeting during CICTP coneference each year.

  • 2011 - 2nd COTA-World Bank China Transport Forum, Nanjing, China. Theme: Road safety in China.
  • 2012 - 3rd COTA-World Bank China Transport Forum, Beijing, China. Theme: Public transport system integration.
  • 2013 - 4th COTA-World Bank China Transport Forum, Shenzhen, China.
  • 2014 - 5th COTA-World Bank China Transport Forum, Changsha, China.
  • 2015 - 6th COTA-World Bank China Transport Forum, Beijing, China.
