The 16th COTA International Conference of Transportation Professionals (CICTP2016) will be held during July 6-9, 2016, in Shanghai, China. CICTP2016 is jointly organized by Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA) and Shanghai Maritime University (SMU).

CICTP2016 will address challenges emerging from the development of green and multimodal transportation and logistics systems. Transportation research that supports the “one belt, one road” initiative is especially encouraged. The conference will host a series of technical sessions, plenary sessions, and special forums, including the World Bank Forum, the Deans’ Forum, and COTA Career Development Forum for Young Scholars and Students. The best-paper awards and other professional awards will be granted to the authors of excellent papers or institutes/enterprises which have made outstanding contributions to the development of transportation systems in China. There will be more than 500 participants who are all transportation related government officials, transportation policy makers, researchers, practitioners and graduate students.

2. Session Sponsor

   2. Sponsor shall submit the logo to Sponsorship Committee Chair no later than June 5, 2016.


6. Lunch Sponsor: US$5,000
   1. Exclusive sponsor for one conference lunch
   2. Signage at the lunch and conference
   3. Ability to place promotional information at the lunch tables on your designated day (sponsor is responsible for placement of these items)


7. Benefits for All Sponsors
   1. Sponsors’ logo and web address will be included in all CICTP2016 event promotions that will be disseminated to conference participants and posted on COTA/SMU websites (from the date of sponsorship payment to Dec. 31, 2016).
   2. Sponsors can bring pamphlets to the conference, and the sponsorship committee will arrange the distribution of the pamphlets during CICTP2016.
   3. Sponsorship covers the registration fee for one representative of the sponsor including three meals, refreshments for coffee break and free access to technical and special sessions of CICTP2016. Additional representatives will pay a discounted registration fee at US$200 per person.
   4. Verbal recognition of your sponsorship at the conference.
   5. The representative of the sponsor who contributes the most will be invited to give a short speech (no more than 5 minutes) during the closing ceremony.
